Basler Vision Technologies Announces Bill Godsey as New Sales Manager in the U.S.

Effective immediately, Bill Godsey is the new North American Regional Sales Manager for Basler’s IP camera series.

Bill will be based in San Diego, CA and will be responsible for the IP camera customers in Northern America including USA and Canada. Bill was previously employed as National Distributor CRM Manager at Sanyo Energy U.S., where he gained extensive sales experience, especially through the support of a national distribution sales network.

Bill’s primary tasks will be to set up a complete sales network in the U.S. Up until now Basler has concluded distribution agreements for the European market only. As a next step we will expand our activities to the U.S., which we consider as an extremely important  target market.” says Hardy Mehl, Director of Marketing, Basler Vision Technologies.

The decision to hire a dedicated person in US responsible for the IP camera sales is a logical step for Basler after entering the digital video surveillance market earlier this year. Basler’s new megapixel IP cameras that are designed and manufactured in Germany, will make their first appearance in US at the ASIS show in Atlanta in September. In the upcoming weeks Bill will be qualifying potential sales partners that intend to extend their portfolio with hiqh-quality megapixel IP cameras.
