Partnership and Integration
As there are more and more demands in IP surveillance, having Hikvision’s network cameras compatible with mainstream video management software is crucial. Hikvision, therefore, have taken the initiative to integrate with the major video management software in the market. One of the most prominent collaborations is with Milestone Systems, the world leading developer of open platform IP video management software in 2008. “Though Hikvision’s IP video surveillance products are newly introduced to the market, we have received numerous positive feedbacks, and have seen a great potential in the booming IP surveillance market. The partnership with Milestone is definitely one of the major steps for us to provide a higher value in the video surveillance industry and helping Hikvision get a strong reputation internationally.
With the integration of Hikvision’s high-performance IP video surveillance products with Milestone’s powerful, reliable and highly scalable video management software, the market will be able to enjoy solutions that meet various requirements from diversified and critical security applications,” said Zhiping Zhou, vice president of Hikvision. Hikvision also works with other video management suppliers in order to complete the whole IP product infrastructure, such as Aimetis, ALNET SYSTEMS, NUUO, and JDL Digital Systems amongst others.
“Only in this way can Hikvision transform its image from being a company that is engaged purely in manufacturing to one that delivers total solutions, which is a must in the IP surveillance era,” said Tony Yang, International Marketing Director of Hikvision. Hikvision plans to maintain close cooperation with not only local distribution and system integration partners, but also international organisations.
