Entrepreneurs join forces to take Octavian to the next level

Octavian Continental Limited, the security company owned by Sukhi Ghuman, has today announced that business entrepreneur Kavita Oberoi has joined the business as a funder and director.

Kavita Oberoi, who became famous for her hugely successful business Oberoi Consulting, which provides IT solutions for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, has known Sukhi Ghuman for two years and was happy to invest in his dynamic Octavian business.

“Even without knowing Sukhi as well as I do, it would have been hard not to notice the meteoric rise of Octavian and Sukhi himself,” explains Kavita.

“It’s a fantastic business and Sukhi is arguably the most successful young entrepreneur in the UK - I had to invest in this and realise my dream of operating at a truly global level. Our joint investment, which has secured the jobs and livelihoods of Octavian’s loyal and skilled 743 strong team, shows the relevance of private equity for independent businesses.

“Given our experiences of the past few months, it’s our joint opinion that banks and financing companies, rather than facilitating the growth of independently owned businesses as they should, are instead largely driving them to the brink of failure.”

Octavian Continental Limited, which will trade as Octavian Security, believes that Oberoi’s connections in the NHS and pharmaceutical industry will compliment the governmental, and blue chip client base that the business already works with – taking the company to another level and hopefully creating another 700 + jobs in the next few years. The business will operate with the same team, a refreshed board and an unchanged client base to that of the £14 million turnover Octavian Security Limited. It also hopes to continue and surpass the award winning performance that originally made Octavian such a force to be reckoned with in the security industry.

“I’m delighted to be taking the business forward with Kavita. She shares my focus, passion and determination in business and we both believe that failure is not an option,” explains Sukhi Ghuman.

“I believe that this partnership will not only be hugely beneficial to Octavian Security, but also for my own personal development.”

Octavian will be announcing further board appointments before the end of the month.
