A new monitor from vigilant vision to speed up installations

Vigilant Vision, one of the UK’s fastest growing security equipment suppliers, has announced the immediate availability of a new compact Test Monitor with a 5.6” screen and built-in test pattern generator to meet the specific needs of CCTV system installers.

With an RRP of £139.50, it provides a cost effective way to improve the onsite testing and demonstration of CCTV installations in a wide range of applications.

This lightweight and compact unit is just 180x120x34 mm and weighs 1.2kg.  It features a high quality 5.6” LCD screen that is scratch and glare proof with a resolution of 320x234 pixels enabling it to be clearly viewed in all light conditions.

It offers BNC and audio inputs/outputs and has a test pattern generator that offers a full range of colour bar, cross hatch, RGB and dot routines to check cable runs for mains hum and interference before connecting cameras, DVRs, etc.

Vigilant Vision’s new Test Monitor is highly portable and is supplied with a travel case and carry strap enabling it to be safely used hands-free during installations or system testing.  It is powered by a long lasting Li-Poly battery that can be recharged from the mains or by using the supplied 12V DC in-car charger
