Chiron Security Communications has improved ease-of-use for both installers and users of its IRIS alarm transmission systems, with the inclusion of Wireless Logic SIM cards with all UK GPRS based products, as standard.

The IRIS and IRIS Touch signallers are well established as market leaders in multi-path alarm transmission incorporating GPRS, however previously users have added their own preferred SIM cards.

Now, however, all IRIS units will be shipped with a Wireless Logic SIM included, giving the customer the choice of either using it, or simply replacing it with their own preferred alternative.

Wireless Logic provides a securely managed, end-to-end GPRS transmission service which offer users significantly increased security and total reliability.Making Wireless Logic SIM cards available in all IRIS alarm signalling products, gives UK customers the option of fast, low-cost but highly secure GPRS transmission via the ManageNet network.

“Our customers now benefit from more choice and convenience – and reassurance of quality - as they can use either their own SIM card or the Wireless Logic card which is included free with every UK GPRS based IRIS alarm signaller,” explains Chiron’s UK Business Development Manager, Claire Brown.

“The Wireless Logic SIM provides a top-end GPRS solution which very simple to activate and full instructions are included. For customers who prefer to stick with their own SIM, set-up is equally simple – and for them the Wireless Logic SIM serves as a back-up.”

Chiron’s IRIS alarm transmission solution is now the best-selling IP-based system in Europe, with more than 40,000 installed units monitored by over 180 monitoring centres.

The new strategic alliance between Chiron Security Communications and Wireless Logic brings together two leading innovators in the rapidly evolving field of data transmission.
