Genetec Security Center 4.0

Genetec has released a new version of its security platform, Security Center 4.0, which unifies the company’s Omnicast IP video surveillance and Synergis IP access control systems with the AutoVu IP license plate recognition (LPR) system.

Genetec have described how customers will enjoy a single point from which to monitor their security and safety systems.

Users of AutoVu LPR now have access to the intuitive client application, Security Desk, as well as the Security Center’s enterprise-level functionality such as seamless scalability over IP.
