While other motion detectors merely react to input from one or two sensors with a simple yes or no decision, Bosch Professional Series Detectors actually integrate and process data from up to 5 different sensors to make intelligent alarm decisions. This exclusive Sensor Data Fusion technology uses a sophisticated microcontroller within the detector to constantly adjust and balance the sensitivities of each sensor, resulting in the most accurate alarm decisions ever.

Long- and short-to-mid-range PIRs

Two PIR sensors (one for long-range; one for mid- and short-range) provide twice the resolution to more effectively monitor the entire coverage area.

Active white light suppression

By processing both infrared and white light, the Professional Series Detectors eliminate false alarms caused by stray lights, such as passing headlights.

Dynamic temperature compensation

Detects subtle temperature differences while avoiding false alarms at higher temperatures.

Range adaptive doppler radar

(available on PIR/microwave versions only) The microwave transceiver automatically adjusts its detection thresholds based on input from the PIR sensors. By integrating the target distance information from the PIR, false alarms from the microwave Doppler radar are significantly reduced.

Tri-focus optics

Three lenses cover short-, mid- and long-range areas to eliminate gaps in coverage. Professional Series Detectors monitor 86 zones and combine to form 11 solid curtains of detection within the coverage area.

Multi-point anti-mask technology

The Professional Series ISC-PPR1-WA16 and ISC-PDL1-WA18 detectors offer anti-mask technology that is compliant with all of the latest international regulatory standards for detection of objects covering or placed in front of the detector. Using patented prism lenses and active infrared detection, the detector offers protection from all known forms of attack, including fabric, paper, metal, plastic, tape and spray.
